I am always open to new ideas and I like to learn from other teachers' work. I follow them specially in Instagram (IG).
Nevertheless, I found the blog entry "A Timeline of Gothic👻 Literature" very inspiring! I plan to use TimeToast in my lessons to create a visual timeline of Gothic literature, making it more accessible for my lower-level students.
Since Halloween is a great opportunity to explore this genre, I would assign students different Gothic writers (Poe, Shelly, ...) or key works from the timeline. They would research simple facts—such as the publication date, main themes, and a short summary—then add them to a collaborative TimeToast timeline. This will help them understand the evolution of Gothic literature in a more engaging way. Thank you for the great idea!
ReplyDeleteHi! I loved all the material you’ve uploaded; I found it very creative and original. Additionally, the design of the blog is very cheerful, which would enhance student motivation in language classes. As an area for improvement, there are some posts where the format has become misconfigured, so this should be taken into account. Other than that, I think it’s very rich and appealing content. Thank you very much for sharing it!
Hello! Interesting blog! I love the way you have developed the different activities, the way you have presented them, and obviously, your students projects. Apart from that, the aesthetic of it is quite appealing and colourful what attracts the public interest. As a suggestion, you may consider to review the typewriting fonts and size, just to give more harmony to the space. Anyway, it is cool! Thank you for your contributions.
